Associate Professor of Laboratory Medicine, Mayo Clinic

Dr. Zubair currently is the Medical Director of Transfusion Medicine and Stem Cell Therapy at Mayo Clinic Florida. His Division includes a Blood Bank that supports one of the largest liver transplant programs in the world, a state-of-the-art Clinical Apheresis Unit and a FDA registered cGMP Stem Cell Therapy Laboratory. Dr. Zubair a certified international inspector of bone marrow transplant centers and blood banks for the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). He is currently a consultant in Transfusion Medicine and associate professor at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and adjunct associate professor University of Florida. Dr. Zubair is also the associate Dean, Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences.
