Nissan Chemical Corporation (NCC) was founded in 1887 as Japan’s first chemical fertilizer manufacturer. Today, NCC focuses on developing specialized materials for electronics, chemicals, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and regenerative medicine. NCC’s Advanced Materials and Planning division is focused on developing materials for regenerative medicine applications. The FCeM® brand of products constitute 2D and 3D cell culture media, polymers for suspension culture of cells and system for mass production of 3D iPSCs. The prevelex® brand of products constitute polymeric coatings for anti-adhesion of bio-materials on substrates, tubes, vials and microplates. NCC is currently commercializing its products for regenerative medicine applications globally.
