Dwayne Soisson

Dwayne Soisson

Senior Director - Operations, Dendreon

After graduating with a Chemical Engineering degree in 1992, Dwayne joined Big Pharma working for Merck as Supervisor of an aseptic filling operation.  During his Merck career, Dwayne was blessed with many opportunities to improve his technical capabilities and people management skills while supporting the manufacture of many life-saving and life-altering products.  Roles within Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Quality Operations, and Change Management have provided him with a diverse background and skill set complimentary to today’s demanding biopharmaceutical world.  In 2015 Dwayne joined Dendreon where he has spent the last three years leading Dendreon’s immunotherapy manufacturing facility located outside Atlanta, GA.

Dwayne and his wife have been married nearly 23 years and are blessed with five beautiful children.  Dwayne spends his spare time enjoying the great outdoors as much as possible.  Family hikes are a favorite, especially since he no longer needs to carry his children up or down a mountain!

His faith and family’s support helped him through his recent career change…a change that opened his eyes to a world of personalized patient care never before experienced, and never more appreciated.
